I was going to my local community college for electronic engineering when they rolled out their first set of personal computers across campus. It did not take long to get one of my own.

 

At first it was just a machine to play games on.

Then I got a modem, and learned about the BBS world.  This was awesome.

Then the Internet opened its doors to the unwashed masses.  Everything changed.
